The bed frame itself is beautiful and the color of the blue is accurate to the photos listed. I’ve been looking between Wayfair and Amazon for a bed frame like this and Amazon had the better price with a more reasonable shipping date! So totally worth it, right?! (Not bashing Wayfair but shipping takes forever.) Shipping came 2 days earlier than expected which was convenient for me. I do have downfalls with the product. In the pictures it seems it’s only a mattress to compliment the “low platform look” but the slabs of wood aren’t enough to hold the mattress up. YOU WILL SINK!Also, the slabs of wood they expect you to make your own holes but the only requirements they ask you to have is a screw driver. Made setting up the frame more time consuming. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s definitely easy to do it just to me seemed like the slabs aren’t as sturdy.So either add more wood, or buy a metal box spring to replace wood slabs!(Personally I bought a box spring so my set doesn’t look as platform buy hey I’m not sinking nor am I going to Home Depot buying wood lol.)
