Cons first... the buttons weren't sewn on very well and I had to resew one immediately after wash/dry.Pros: It DID come with an extra button though! Really nice design and nice thick flannel. I love the vibrant blue and whites. No bleeding between colors when washed and dried on medium. Also, no shrinkage. This fits my oversized king down comforter perfectly. It has ties in the corners with reinforced sewing. There are just enough buttons to close the opening well, but not be cumbersome. A zipper would have been nicer, but the rest of the duvet set is so well made that it simply doesn't matter. The pillows also fit king sized down pillows quite snugly, but are not too small. I really love this set and am so happy that I bought it. I may look at purchasing another duvet from pointehaven, as I have been disappointed in some aspect or other of the other duvets that I have purchased.
