We went to three stores. Two mattress outlets and one Kingsdown/Sleep to Live factory showroom. No mattress we tested compared to the Kingsdown brand mattress for comfort, and we tested out a lot. We wanted medium firm and not a ton of memory foam. The Kingsdown mattresses weren’t the most expensive that we found but in the store they were more than we wanted to pay (close to $3,000). Amazon offered a similar mattress to the one we tried in the store for less than half the price. I was nervous to purchase a mattress sight unseen and without testing it out with my husband, who suffers with chronic lower back and neck pains, but the mattress is AWESOME! We’ve slept great the last week since the mattress arrived. It’s a deep mattress but I made sure to get new sheets and a comfy mattress pad to protect it that had pockets that could accommodate a depth of 18 up to 21 inches. The delivery went well and the truck attendant helped my husband place the mattress on our front porch until we could muster the energy to get it upstairs. Would definitely purchase another in the future. Highly recommend this product.
