I originally bought this item for my bed due to concerns with my toddler and that was a few years ago. I chose it because of the cost and reviews. It is a nice product and it is soft. I have washed it many times. My daughter has recently moved to a new room with her big bed and I ended up purchasing another one. It has stood the test- she has had accidents on her bed and I just had a new baby and wasn't able to change the sheets right away but when I returned to change it about 40 min later the mattress was dry. I alwayas wondered on my bed if it didn't leak because I was so fast on removing it. I am happy with my purchase and will likely be purchasing another one when my son gets his big bed.
