I bought the quilt and shams also. Love this set! The quilt is soft and lightweight. The bedskirt fits my king bed perfectly. I am very picky about my purples. This set is a deep blue purple. Not on the red/purple side at all. Had to send two other quilts back because they look purple on- line, but turned out to be red/purple; almost maroon. If you like a true purple, you will love all the pieces of this set. ( the shams fit a large king size pillow perfectly.)
