Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen & Alvin Queen Jazz Album - Classic Jazz Music Collection for Relaxation, Dinner Parties & Music Lovers

This DVD is the most dynamite 52 minutes of Jazz I've ever heard. Kenny Drew and Alvin Queen are consumate musicians playing and having a great time doing it. One can feel their mood, joy, and excitement during the concert. Neils Henning Orsted Pedersen or simply NHOP as he is known in the music world is featured in a handful of solos during the concert which make a person wonder if one with his ability may only come around once every 100 years or so. I was moved to tears the first time I watched Neils soloing on this DVD. How he could play at that level, using all eight fingers to full capacity at a very high tempo, and almost never looking at what he is doing is beyond all comprehension. It's like he and the double bass are only one being. Every child, teenager, adult, and elderly person should see this DVD!!!
