Simply beautiful. Material, quality, delivery exceeded expectations.There is a problem with this item. The legs are made of steel. They are too long for my bed and could not be cut shorter. The headboard was way too high and pillow was constantly getting stuck between wall and mattress. I had to make custom made legs - see the pictures.Question to manufacturer: can you offer me a partial refund since I had to spend money to make the headboard work?The headboard was exactly as shown in the photo. It is nice and high and shows well behind the up turned pillows and sham covered pillows. The padding is thick enough to be very comfortable. It was easily attached to the metal bed frame. It gives a very understated but slightly elegant look to the bed that I am very pleased with. Shipping was quick and arrived in very good condition. The left side metal tack trim was a little crooked compared to the right side but not enough to throw off the the whole design but just enough to rate a little lower - more like a half star lower than a whole star but couldn't do it with this rating system.Looks great. Easy to assemble.It appears that I am in love with this brand. Everything that Safavieh makes appeals to me; their furniture and carpets, etc. Don't know what the word means but I know its hard to pronounce and hard to spell. Whenever I see that name I stop and do a slow turn.This headboard arrived very quickly, was well packaged and looks exactly like the picture. The reason I gave it three stars is because the metal leg was bolted onto the back of the headboard in a sideways fashion. I assumed it was simply for shipping purposes. The bolt was so tight no one could undo it. I ended up breaking the side of the headboard trying to get the leg to go straight so I could set up the headboard correctly. I was told later by a handyman that I should have gotten bolt cutters from the hardware store so I could re-bolt the leg onto the headboard. Other than the side with ripped fabric and torn board , the headboard looks beautiful. I really don't think anyone will notice.This headboard is very pretty. The fabric is a linen weave which I love, and it is good quality. The "white" is more of an off white, which I like as well. I fastened it to the bed myself too. It was very easy. Overall a great purchase. I'm glad I got it.Gorgeous, and a great value for the price. Looks as pictured.BUT I find it to be a really awkward height with the legs. without them it is too short. with them it is way too tall! it clears my mattress and box spring, and that is not a good look, so I have to raise my bed MORE to make it work. frustrating.
