The dress came on time and is made of very nice material. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was the decorative rick rack on the front was sewn on crooked. The head piece also came with nothing to hold it on. It is just a piece of fabric. The picture shows something to secure it to your head. Overall beautiful quality but the crooked stitching is front and center.I usually wear a small in women's clothing but I read review that this dress runs small so I ordered a medium. I was really glad I did because it was tight and reached the tops of my feet in the front and my ankles in the back. I had been hoping it would be longer but it was fine. What really wasn't fine were the sleeves. They were way too short, more like 3/4 length than long even when I pulled them down. I like the dress itself, it's beautiful and not too heavy. The headpiece is hard to put on though. The belt is really long, but I looped it a few times and it was fine. Except for the size issue I really like it; considering getting a large. It also comes much higher up on the chest than the picture shows.I like the costume, but it is more snug than I had imagined it would be. I usually wear a size 10, but if the hip area is narrow, I get a 12. I purchased a large. There was no problem with the hips or waist, but it surprised me that my small chest and average sized arms didn't have more room. The sleeves were especially tight. I need the outfit for a short monologue so I will not be in it long. If this had been for a costume party, I think I would want something more comfortable. The head dress did not work at all. The head band was much too small. That was okay with me because I do not need them for this performance. The quality of the material was good and the color, while not exactly as shown in the photo, will still work for me. Overall, I like this.To start with, this dress is actually quite lovely and flattering... I bought it for a Lady of the Lake Halloween costume and I think it will do the job quite nicely. However, it gets 3 stars for quality and length... The hemline is a little wonky and you can tell it's not very well made (however, it's also fairly cheap so I guess you get what you pay for!) I wouldn't have minded the hemline so much if the dress hadn't been so short... I'm 5'7 and it was a solid 4in above the ground in the front and around 6-7 short in the back. I consider 5'7 to be a pretty average height so I was very surprised this dress came in so short... However, it was an easy fix after a quick trip to a fabric store for some matching fabric and hemming tape. All in all, the dress will do the job and it really is quite pretty... just a warning to the taller ladies out there!Purchased for my daughter. She is 5'9' but slim build so we ordered the Medium. The dress fit the bust, waist and arms perfectly. But the length - it was short, hitting above her ankles. We paired it with a flouncy long petticoat that rustled and made the dress flare a bit at the bottom so the lack of length didn't matter as much. The sales image shows the dress puddling on the floor - maybe for someone shorter, but a taller or long-legged person will probably find the dress too short like we did. Also, the linked belt was really long (instructions for extra looping would be helpful), and she abandoned the headdress completely because it was difficult to position and frankly look weird. BUT the dress is beautiful and doesn't look cheap or costume-y.Excellent quality for the price, (under $40 at time of purchase, a few days before Halloween.) he headpiece was a little difficult to figure out, it comes in headband and square velvet kerchief, and you have to figure out how to position it. I ended up keeping the headband and putting on a crown from another costume I purchased and rejected. Good stitching, quite warm, surprisingly high quality chain belt with brooch clasp. I ended up using a decorative dagger as an accessory, and was able to wrap the chain around my waist and the hilt to have it stay up. I got several compliments at the costumed Medieval themed event I attended. I am 5'2 and it was the perfect length when wearing flats, I barely needed to lift it. I am 36'28'42' and it fit me tightly (but not uncomfortably) through the bodice.Very pretty dress. It is royal blue in color and is much prettier in person than on the model in the picture. The arms are gorgeous! We ordered a size medium because we needed it on short notice and it was the only size at the time available with prime. My daughter is between an 8 & 10 and the dress part fits her just fine, but the arms are tight. Also, she is a B cup and the dress is very tight on her in the bust. It squishes her lol. Also, she is 6 feet tall, and on her the dress is really too short. For her it is about 4 inches above her ankles. We just wore a tall black boot so her legs didn't show with it. On a shorter girl it will be fine.We got a skittle bigger size and then it fit perfectly. The material is made cheap but other wise was good and worked well for the rennisance faire. So just make sure to get a size or two bigger than usual.I think this is well made but it is too short (it was purchased for a teenage girl who is about 5 '7"). It does not pool at your feet as the picture suggests. We need this costume for a play so we will keep it and can hopefully find something to add at the bottom to lengthen it (at least 4").The sleeves are quite short on this dress. I usually take a small size, but had to order a medium in this one and the arms are STILL short on me (I'm not a tall person - 5'5" with "normal" length arms. Oddly proportioned outfit, but looks pretty on.Well made. Bought big yet my child will not get a second years use.Beautiful as described. Thanks!Sizing is very small
