This is true dense tempur-pedic memory foam … absolutely conforms to you. Density is a lot like cuddling with pizza dough - or a pliable marshmallow … HIGHLY recommend !!!I love Tempurpedic, but I am so disappointed. I have waited a full year before adding this review, as I wanted to see if it got better over time, but it didn't.First - it is incredibly heavy, so not easy to adjust when trying to fall asleep.Second - unlike other reviewers, my pillow is not flat, it is more round, like a log. When I wrap my leg around it to sleep, it actually creates *more* pain in my hips as it created adduction (moves my leg outward) instead of being parallel. This creates tension in my hip and I am miserable.I have opted instead to use it as a very long neck pillow, which actually works well...but this is not for the purpose that I purchased this.At 48", this pillow was longer than needed. It's also thicker than what I was looking for, and bit on the firm side. It was also expensive, and I didn't feel like I got a good value for the money, but I bought it anyway because I wanted Tempurpedic, as we've been very pleased with our mattress and regular pillows. It is well made and does function as a body pillow, but it just feels suboptimal.I have purchased many body pillows in the last two years. And I have returned every single one of them for one reason or another. Either there wasn’t enough support, or it was too firm, or it was too lumpy, or it was too hot. This pillow hits it out of the park on all aspects. After the first night, I immediately bought a second one. I am a side sleeper and I flip-flop all night long. So I plan to have one on either side of me. I was most worried about the heat because there were several reviews and questions answered that implied that this pillow was hot. I did not find that to be true at all. I have a bamboo pillowcase over it so maybe that is the difference. If this pillow was even remotely hot I would have to return it. I know this pillow will last a very long time, and I can see why it’s one of their highest rated pillows on the Tempur-pedic website.This is thicker and firmer than body pillows filled with beads or fiber fill. This works much better for me, although it is a little pricy.Update (11/11/21) I bought my body pillow back in March 2017, and after four and a half years of use I still find it to be the best body pillow available. The comments I made back in 2017, are still valid.First review March 2017 - If you are looking for a good firm body pillow then look know further. Unlike a lot of other body pillows this one does not flatten out when you curl up next to it.Most body pillows I have found in stores do not are not worth the money. When testing these pillows I apply pressure with my hands and I can just about touch my hands through the pillow,Eventhough it appears that Tempur-Pedic has not been marketing this item for the past year or so you can still find that there are some available from vendors.If this is your first time shopping for Tempur-pedic products you will find that they tend to be on the expensive side. Keep in mind that even though the products are expensive you also get a very good product.Amazon warehouse Like New was as advertised with a essentially New pillow which was originally unwrapped. A quick wash of cover and it was brand new for me.I hate huge bulky bolsters that roll off the bed by the morning. This elliptical bolster is perfect for side sleepers.I can't get enough of this pillow!!!! AMAZING, it does have some weight to it but it is what it is. I have enjoyed the best sleeps I have ever had.The only disappointment I have - Which I knew going before buying is that the cover isn't waterproof. Yes the ones it comes with zips off and you can wash it. However, that isn't enough for me. AS I plan on having this pillow for 10+ years. With it being between my legs every night enough said...The human body sweats and its just natural while you sleep things can leak.I solved this buy buying a waterproof cover. Tempur-Pedic should really sell one cause I would have bought it along with the Body pillow.I’ve bought a total of 7 body pillows ranging from exotic high end super expensive to around $100 low end. Everyone of them ended up in the garbage because nothing was comfortable. Either it was too springy or too soft, or way too firm like a rock. Or the wrong length. It was a hopeless cause.HANDS DOWN the best PILLOW for side sleepers like me. Scroll no further. No joke! You’ll love it.Ps. I also own a Tempur-pedic bed and I now wouldn’t own anything else.Desde hace más de 10 años me he hecho adicto a esta marca, no hay nadie en el Mkt que se le acerque. Son productos de calidad y que duran mucho. Vale la pena cada peso invertido, si nunca has comprado algo tempur deberías de probarlo.Esta almohada ya es mi favorita pues yo mido 1.90 y duermo literal enroscado a ella, desde mi punto de vista te conviene más está almohada que una standard tempur, pues pagas un poquito más, pero tienes una almohada para todo el cuerpo!!!El único detalle que me toco es que con mi reloj le jale un hilo a su funda :(. Pero lo acepto fue mi culpa. De ahí en fuera todo excelenteDuermo feliz, descansadooooo lo único malo de ello es que no me quiero salir de la cama!!Really tall. Feels comfortable when hugging it. Its like hugging a person. Really good if you are a side sleeper. One improvement i would add to it would be a gel cool coating so that its colder. But that's just my personal preference. I enjoy it regardless.I also wish it came with a pillowcase so i didn't have to buy that separatelyExactly what I was hoping to receive
