I am usually a size 4-6. I got a small size. It fits me perfectly. The size chart might be misleading a little. The fabric is great and is not whatsoever see-through! ( Most Halloween costumes are see-through or are plastic fabrics which I don't like) The strips are not good quality but overall it is a great costume. I recommend buying a sword with it. It makes it more clear that you are a warrior :)
