My husband got a blanket of similar quality 16 years ago in the sandbox on deployment in the UAE. THAT blanket to this day is still perfect. But I wanted to retire it so he could cherish it forever. So we bought this one. I had anticipated it would be more purple. It's not. Its blue. You should know that incase you are trying to coordinate.Great blanket. Heavy weight.
