Love everything about productI recently had a horrible health scare that lead to over a month of hospitalization (just over two weeks in the I.C.U.) and one of the aspects of my malady was terrifically painful cellulitis on my lower legs. The worst of it was an 8" by 10" patch on my left calf which, before treatment, felt like a motorcycle tailpipe burn which often throbbed to feeling like actually being burned. After being released I went through six weeks of the weeping wound being redressed by a home health care nurse before finally scabbing over. Much of the pain was gone, but I still had surges for the past two weeks.I was using aloe vera gel with anesthetic to help the healing process, and it certainly helped quite a bit, but daily pain, irritation, and itchiness was the norm. Finally I was able to replenish my finances, so I decided to seek out cocoa butter to help the skin heal. Amazon has quite a selection ranging from solid blocks to moisturizing lotion, but the Queen Helene cocoa butter looked like it might be the right consistency (semi-solid), and the price was right, so I placed my order and got the jar two days later.When I first applied the cocoa butter relief was quick and almost miraculous. The itchiness was relieved instantly, quite a bit faster than hydrocortisone cream, and the irritation and pain were gone within five minutes. For the first time in over six months I was pain-free! After applying it three times in a day the wound improved to the point of what would have taken at least a week. My only regret is that I didn't find this awesome stuff sooner.The cocoa butter is pretty much non-greasy, has a mild, pleasant scent (not my cup of tea but really could only be improved by being scent-free), and absorbs very quickly. The jar is larger than I anticipated, and it only takes a small amount to do its job. The moisturizing effects are above and beyond any lotion I have ever encountered.Queen Helene's cocoa butter is at the top of its class and the price is a steal. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a multitude of uses.Um excuse me?! This cream went above and beyond my expectations. It kept my skin hydrated ALL DAY! My hands were dry and cracked and my other lotions usually di the trick but not this time even after applying multiple times per day. This Marula creme did the job though! It is a tiny bit greasy but not much though. It makes my skin look well moisturized with a tiny tiny bit of healthy shine kind of like the girls in the shaving cream commercials. The scent is very mild… kind of smelled like chocolate to me. The ingredients do say it has cocoa butter in it so that makes sense. I love this product and will definitely purchase again. So worth it!I read the reviews beforehand so I knew to expect a small bottle. I already have a larger container of this creme but wanted another one that I could keep in my makeup bag, so this worked out perfectly.As for the actual product- I have been using this creme for about a year now. I use this on my legs the most, specifically my thighs that seem to get drier than the rest of my body. It's really thick and slimy (not in a bad way but I don't know how else to explain it!) so it does take awhile to really sink into your skin but you can feel the effects immediately. I usually have to wear shorts after applying this for awhile because you will still feel it. I can't imagine wearing pants afterwards, is what I am saying, so it's good to apply on days you aren't rushing to get out the door.This has been a lifesaver for me when it comes to shaving, too. I have sensitive skin so no matter what I use for shaving I am going to have a little irritation, but applying this afterwards is really soothing AND it seems to smooth out all the imperfections (including the red bumps I get. doesn't completely take them away but it really helps).I have only just recently started using this on my face. I was skeptical at first since I have acne prone skin and didn't know if it would break me out, but I have been using it on my face daily for about a week and no issues with it yet. Like many people, my face gets super dry in the winter and nothing I was trying would moisturize my face enough, and I would still be getting dry flakes. This is the ONLY product that has helped, I don't apply makeup daily but I have tested it and I can apply my primer(s) and BB cream on top of this with no problems, but I do have to use a smaller amount of this creme and let it "dry" for a little bit for best results.Basically, I can't recommend this product enough, it's a total life saver for me in multiple ways and I would recommend it to anybody who has the same issues with their skin.Product absorbs really well and keeps skin hydrated all dayI did not expect to like this product as much as I do. I stumbled on it as a suggestion for chaffing when working out. What I didn’t expect was that it would replace my deodorant!I struggle with breakouts under my arms from deodorants, even the natural and baking soda free ones. I started using diaper rash cream which worked pretty well but left a white residue that could stain clothes and still left me smelling a bit...pitty . Using this I can now go with not having to wash a sweater every time I wear it. If it happens to be a sweaty day I may notice a bit of a salty smell but not like Stank! And the pit stains... gone. I use this on my thighs and inner groin creases to hydrate and deodorize too.I bought lume this week as I wanted to see how it would compare and see if it would give hubby the same results I have gotten with this. It will be hard to beat this stuff tho.Also I have tried other cocoa butter brands and this one isn’t greasy like them. It dries to a matte like feel.I've been using Queen Helene for years and it's becoming harder to find. I knew I'd find it on Amazon and it came in a 4pc and I love that.Sadly I have to give this 2 stars.I have used cocoa butter creams before and was willing to give this a try. the smell of this was great and my skin felt soft so it was very promising. An hour later I was scratching my arms and neck off! If you have sensitive skin, I'd advise you to look for an alternative product.I received a small size/travel size 4.8oz …What’s advertised is 15oz (which costs £8) and that’s not what I got… I expect a refundI used to but this product from a different source it was amazing. First I believe this is not the original one the smell is different the gesture is different and the effects are different.The ones I used before they smell like real cocoa, less greasy and leaves skin calm and soft after it gets absorbed.This one I was completely devastated after use it left red patches on my skin and after it gets absorbed it leaves the skin dry extra dry if you already have a dry skin don’t use, although it’s greasy but it doesn’t give the right skin moisture.Buy it from iHerb you won’t regret itPerfection for the skinIt’s to be used twice a day on problem areas of your skin massage in to the area in a circular motion it removes cellulite and stretch marks it’s excellent for eczema and scaring and feet and anti-ageingany part of the body for most skin problems it’s very good for as long as it’s used twice daily.And for such a cheap price as wellI couldn’t be without it.A very greasy product after applying even sparingly also had a smell of grit through the cocoa so the smell wasn’t too great from my male perspective. I guess I’ve been spoiled with Nivea. Best product in my eyes. This item ended in the bin
