Bought this two months ago for our guest room. Washed and dried today for the first time. Now the comforter appears ruined because whatever the filler is inside it bunched up in spots like hard foam. I am not happy at all. The company who made this should be ashamed of the poor quality. This comforter should be recalled for the unacceptable filling. Apparently it is best to not place the comforter in the dryer but the washing instructions do not specify to drip dry. I would return this if I could.I normally don’t write reviews but this bed set is my all time favorite so far!! It’s soft,fluffy, and so beautiful. The blue color is gorgeous. It’s warm and semi light weight. It’s not thin. If you want comfy and fluffy, buy this!! I want one in each color!! I look forward to making my bed now because this set is just plain gorgeous!While the patterns, colors and accent pillows are nice, the fabric of the comforter is not as soft as I would prefer. It feels cheap and scratchy. Am disappointed. Was expecting better quality from Laura Ashley and for the price.This is my second Laura Ashley comforter/bedding purchase and I am truly disappointed at the shoddiness and quality of this product.The comforter is super thin and the fabric for the shams is as well.The coloring of the print isn't like it is in the picture.I am not sure because it was MADE IN CHINA but it's not worth what I paid for it!I feel like I could have made a better set myself-so not happy!! It claims to be machine washable but with the first wash and the inside material moved. I bought Laura Ashley comforter 20 years ago and it is still intact.I found this for a lower price at Home Depot, but I often use Amazon reviews for advice, so I’m leaving a review for other Amazon customers. The fabric is so scratchy that it is not comfortable. It is lower quality than cheap calico. I can’t imagine it will last. I would never have made this purchase in person. Really disappointing. Also the background color is a shade of blue. I don’t mind it, but the photos make the design look blue on white.Really pretty. The softness will come...was a bit stiff to start but not bad. Color is beautiful.
